| Voice-over: | Security of tenure for domestic tenancies has been abolished from 9th July, 2004. Landlords and tenants entering into tenancies from this date are free to decide whether or not to renew. |

| Voice-over: | For tenancies created before this date, if the landlord wants to terminate the tenancy, he must give the tenant at least 12 months' notice after the lease expires. |
