Mandatory reporting of child abuse protects children (Web accessible version)

The scene shifts to a social worker’s office illustrated in watercolour. The social worker comforts a secondary school girl suspected of sexual abuse. The girl looks anxious, avoiding eye contact with the social worker. The voiceover says:
