“LeaveHomeSafe” COVID-19 exposure notification mobile app (Web accessible version)

Description of visuals:  The opening scene shows a young girl wearing a mask and holding a handbag,
she walks briskly from the left to the right of the screen and
passes a building with flowers and plants in front of its door.
The scene then changes,
the young girl in another outfit swings her arms light-heartedly
and walks briskly from the left to the right of the screen,
passing a wall full of plant pic-tures.
The young girl then arrives at the entrance of a restau-rant and
notices that there is a “LeaveHomeSafe” venue QR code on the door.
She then takes out her smartphone and
scans the QR code with the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app.
The screen of the smartphone shows the time when the girl visited the restaurant and
her Vaccine Pass in the app.
The female voice-over says:
Female voice-over:  I will help fight the virus!
Description of visuals:  The screen shows that the young girl shows her Vac-cine Pass
in her smartphone to a man.
The man with another smartphone uses the QR Code Verification Scanner
to scan the Vaccine Pass of the young girl.
The man’s phone then displays “Vaccine Pass require-ments were fulfilled”.
The screen then shows that the young girl eating in the restaurant.
She then takes out her smartphone and presses the “Leave Now” button
on the screen of the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app to record the time leav-ing the venue.
The scene then switches to a young man wearing a mask with his hands in his trousers’ pockets,
he walks briskly from the right to the left of the screen and passing several different shops.
The scene changes again,
showing the young man wearing a mask in an-other causal outfit pushes a bicycle with one hand,
and walks from the right to the left of the screen, pass-ing another shop.
The male voice-over says:
Male voice-over:  I will protect Hong Kong!
Description of visuals:  Then, the scene shows the young man in sportswear,
carrying a bag with a badminton racket inside.
The young man comes to the door of an indoor badminton court.
He then takes out his smartphone and scans the venue QR code
on the door of the indoor badminton court with the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app.
The screen of the smartphone shows the time of visits and the man’s Vaccine Pass.
The young man then scans his Vaccine Pass with the QR Code Verification Scanner
in the tablet above the venue QR code.
The tablet then displays “Vaccine Pass requirements were fulfilled”.
The female voice-over says:

Description of visuals:  Seven smartphones appear one by one from the right to the left of the screen.
The following names appear on the screen of the smartphones, namely,
“Market”, “Government Building”, “Restaurant, Pub, Karaoke Establishment”,
“Library”, “Sports Centre”, “Commu-nity Centre” and
“Public Housing Estate Shopping Mall”.
The female voice-over says:
Female voice-over:  Remember to use the app to scan QR codes of speci-fied premises under the Vaccine Pass
Description of visuals:  The scene shows a middle-aged man in a suit wearing a mask arriving
at the elevator lobby of a building.
The man notices the “LeaveHomeSafe” venue QR code on the wall of the elevator lobby.
He takes out his smartphone and scans the QR code posted on the wall
with the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app.
The screen of the smartphone shows the time of visits and his Vaccine Pass.
The male and female voice-over say:
Male & Female voice-over:  and your electronic vaccine records stored in the app will be shown automatically
If you went somewhere with infection risk
Description of visuals:  The scene switches to a middle-aged lady in a suit who
greets the middle-aged man and invites him into the venue.
The scene then shows the man’s hand holding his smartphone,
with the screen displaying a “Compulsory Testing Notice notification”.
The female voice-over says:

according to the Centre for Health Protection’s advice
on the possible need for a COVID-19 test
Description of visuals:  The scene then switches to the waterfront with the Victoria Harbour
