Smoking is prohibited in taxis and minibuses even if there are no passengers, as well as in public transport interchanges.  Holding a lit cigarette is not allowed either. 
Please co-operate when approached by tobacco control inspectors, and provide the necessary information, or you could face serious legal consequences.
If you smoke in a no smoking area, you will be liable to a fixed penalty of $1,500.
