Mother :

Doctor, what's wrong with my girl?  Does she need any antibiotics?
Doctor :

No.  She has the flu. Antibiotics aren't necessary.
Mother:

But won't she recover faster with antibiotics?
Doctor:

No! Antibiotics only work against bacteria.
They don't work for viral infections such as a cold or the flu.
Mother:

Umm… Which is for a fever? Which is for a cough?
