In his 2005 Policy Address, the Chief Executive has outlined
ways to promote economic development, help the poor and
the needy, and enhance social harmony and stability.
The Government will increase employment, develop education,
nurture the cultural and creative industries, speed up
urban renewal, and attract talented people to Hong Kong.
Efforts will also be made to enhance environmental protection.
Together, we will uphold the vision of 'people-based'
governance.
