To prevent human swine flu, high risk groups should get vaccinated. The government is arranging vaccinations for healthcare workers, pig farmers and slaughterhouse workers. Children aged between 6 months and under 6 years, elderly persons aged 65 or above, people with chronic illnesses, and pregnant women can also get free or subsidised vaccinations.
