The Fire Services
(Fire Hazard Abatement) Regulation has come into effect.
Using an enclosed container to transport vehicle parts stained
with fuel shall be liable to a fine of $100,000 and imprisonment
for six months. Personnel may stop and detain the container
concerned.
To run any vehicle refuelling business in any premises not
approved by the Fire Services Department shall be liable
to a fine of $100,000 and imprisonment for six months. The
Court may also order that the illegal refuelling premises
be closed for six months. |
