City Media Centre – Nearby facilities |

Hong Kong City Hall is located in the Central District of Hong Kong and is easily accessible by public transport. It is close to the MTR Central Station, the bus terminus at Exchange Square and the ferry terminals. Hong Kong has about 27,000 taxis which can be hailed from the street (in non-restricted area) or boarded from taxi stands.(http://www.gov.hk/en/residents/transport/publictransport/index.htm)
Banking facilities are also within easy reach. Most of the major banks are located along Des Voeux Road Central. Automated teller machines (ATMs) can be found almost everywhere.
The nearby General Post Office offers a wide range of postal services. It is open from 8 am to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday and Public Holiday. (www.hongkongpost.com)
Many restaurants can be found within walking distance of Hong Kong City Hall. Inside City Hall itself, there are four restaurants catering to different tastes.

Welcome to Hong Kong – Co-host City for the 2008 Olympic Games.
Hong Kong is a sophisticated fusion of East and West, a unique city where the new and the old meet at every turn. There is no better way to experience the living culture and diversity of this fantastic city than by joining the leisure and cultural programmes we designed especially for you.
Enrolment is open to visiting media from Mainland China, overseas countries and regions, as well as foreign correspondents of overseas media organisations based in Hong Kong.

Architecture Tour by Tram
Take a leisurely ride on this century-old icon of local transportation with your architect-host who will explain the city's evolution through the street layouts and the architectural characteristics of the buildings along the tram route on the north side of Hong Kong Island.

Victoria Harbour Cruise
Board the handcrafted traditional Chinese junk and set sail for a magnificent 360-view of the world famous Victoria Harbour and then watch A Symphony of Lights, a stunning multi-media show that Guinness World Records calls the "World's Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show."

Feng Shui Class
Feng shui is the ancient Chinese practice of positioning objects and buildings in harmony with nature. Our master will explain the traditional concepts of feng shui and how it continues to play a significant role in the modern-day life of Hong Kong.

Tai Chi on The Peak
Held on the Sky Terrace atop the famous Peak Tower, you will join well-known local tai chi masters for a one-hour practice session, learning the basic forms and movements of this traditional Chinese martial art.

Wine Fair and Cellars Tour
Take a tour to the inaugural Hong Kong International Wine Fair at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, followed by a visit to one of the very rare underground cellars in Asia, the Crown Wine Cellars at Shouson Hill.
